What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

During my TechWomen mentorship, my most valuable contribution will be my diverse background and experiences. I will actively advocate for my mentor's growth and visibility, helping her build confidence, network and seize opportunities within the industry. I will actively listen to my mentor's goals, challenges and aspirations and provide guidance and support tailored to their specific needs. Drawing from my own experiences, I will share insights, strategies and lessons learned to help my mentor navigate her professional journey.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Improve leadership skills by watching deep tech company leaders and their day-to-day activities.
  2. Strengthen my technical skills in the field of web programming and front-end technologies.
  3. How to effectively managing teams, developing growth strategies and assessing performance are key aspects of successful team leadership.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Collaborating with a U.S. based mentor offers a unique opportunity for me to expand my horizons and make a significant impact on my career and professional path. I have several hopes and expectations for how this collaboration will positively shape my professional journey. Working closely with a U.S. based mentor will expose me to best practices, expand my network, hone my skills and instill confidence. This collaboration will be instrumental in unlocking new opportunities and propelling me toward continued growth and success.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Being part of the TechWomen program will allow me to bridge the gap between the TechWomen community and my local IT community. It will connect me with many accomplished, motivated and skilled women in technology and entrepreneurship. This program will open doors to various possibilities and strategies that can be implemented in Palestine to support and empower women in the IT industry, addressing their challenges and equipping them with the necessary skills.
