What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I am a diligent and enthusiastic individual who thrives on embracing challenges. I strongly believe that my host company would greatly benefit from my hands-on experience in establishing a bootstrap education-focused startup on a smaller scale, where I successfully navigated limited resources. Despite these constraints, my vision was expansive, aiming to empower and advocate for girls and women in the tech sector. I am confident that my expertise and insights will inspire my colleagues to engage in purpose-driven initiatives that uplift and support girls and women.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. How online based STEM startups are formed.
  2. Tools and platforms to build successful STEM based educational technology and its digital marketing.
  3. Strong team building, leadership and financial skills.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Participate in a skills-building course, either provided by my mentor’s company or identify a free resource online
  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms

Ideal Company Type

My aspiration is to gain hands-on experience in educational technology companies or in STEM related startups, providing an effective and engaging learning experience that empowers kids and young individuals to explore, excel and thrive in STEM subjects. I am seeking opportunities within medium to large-sized companies that have the vision to transform education, inspire a passion for STEM subjects and empower the next generation of problem solvers, innovators and leaders in scientific and technological fields. The organizational culture should prioritize teamwork and value employees who openly share information and embrace individuals from various backgrounds, identities, values and cultures.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Hardworking
  2. Persistent
  3. Reliable

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Embarking on my initial venture, I aspire to establish a thriving STEM-based educational technology that delivers exceptional online learning experiences, with a particular emphasis on empowering girls in underprivileged areas. Over the past four years, I have been diligently pursuing this dream, but the process of self-learning can be time-consuming. Participation in TechWomen presents an opportunity to expedite my progress by connecting with esteemed professionals and mentors in the STEM field. Their experience and insights will not only help me expand my professional network but also leave a long-lasting positive impact on my personal and professional growth.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Recognizing the immense value of this experience, I am eager to share it within my community, enabling numerous girls and women to benefit from this mentorship program. To achieve this, I will arrange online seminars featuring distinguished TechWomen participants, serving as an inspiration for girls and communities alike. Additionally, I will organize comprehensive workshops, seminars and mentorship programs with a specific focus on underscoring the significance of STEM-based education. Furthermore, by actively engaging in the TechWomen program and acquiring invaluable insights, I will establish an educational technology venture aimed at expanding the academy's influence and extending its reach to a wider audience.
