What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?
I have experience collecting feedback from users to make products better. For the past year and a half, I've been mainly involved in doing field research, analyzing mostly qualitative data and using that information to propose improvements for innovation in education programs. This builds on my experience in creating tech product strategies and being the bridge between developers and users. Additionally, I have expertise in overseeing the creation of both filmed and animated content. I can also assist with organizing CSR activities related to the environment, for I am a quick learner and always consider practicality in my work.
The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship
- Gain practical skills to support the development and use of education technology through research and product design.
- Learn best practices in product management especially for technology used in education.
- Learn how to better organize and communicate my thoughts to the team or other stakeholders.
Mentorship Characteristic
- Have exposure to the company culture
- Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
- Focus on technical skills building
- Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
- Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.
Ideal Company Type
I wish to be hosted at a culturally diverse organization that values the use of research to shape the design and development of its products. Ideally, this organization would specialize in creating products for the education sector or other related development sectors, catering to a diverse user base. Additionally, it would be fantastic if the organization prioritizes a positive work culture and demonstrates a commitment to environmental sustainability.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
I believe that working with a mentor will greatly benefit my career. The TechWomen mentorship program will give me the opportunity to learn about successful educational technology products and programs, as well as gain practical experience in implementing them on a large scale and with limited resources for specific user groups. My hope is that this experience, combined with ongoing collaboration beyond the five-week program, will enhance my work and support my growth from a junior consultant to a more senior role, where I can effectively communicate my ideas and contribute to the design and policy-making processes in the field of educational technology.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
I intend to utilize the valuable best practices and skills I gain from the mentorship program in the various projects I am presently involved in. Moreover, I aspire to progress towards creating programs that facilitate mutual learning, where I can actively mentor others. Specifically, I anticipate reviving a program focused on working with girls in a juvenile center, where I previously taught basic computer skills. My vision for this program is to combine technology and local resources and entrust its management to university students from a nearby institution.
