What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I think my most valuable contribution is going to be my personal values. I am good at conflict-solving, since I am having online studies at psychology and conflict resolution, I can share this knowledge.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn more about R - how it works and how I can use it in research.
  2. Learn new biotechnology tools such as new lab techniques.
  3. Improve my team building and oral presentation skills

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company meetings
  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms

Ideal Company Type

My ideal company type is a biotechnology lab (one cell organ growing, one cell meat) or company, veterinary medicine university or lab. I would be interested in some labs that work with prehistoric fossils. I am open to any size company or company culture type.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Serious
  2. Punctual
  3. Reliable

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I hope that it will be fulfilling and fruitful collaboration. It will impact my career for sure, since I am willing to learn the things I am going to apply in my future path e.g. R system application or acquire new lab skills, but the most important thing I am willing to gain is a solid network and friends.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

The dean of veterinary faculty in my alma mater and rectors of agriculture university in Kyrgyzstan are willing to provide me with a platform to speak and tell about my experience and guide undergraduate students. Apart of that, I hope to bring positive impact in scientific research world.
