What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

My most valuable contribution to the TechWomen program will be the knowledge and experience I bring from Tajikistan. I am committed to sharing this knowledge with my colleagues and students, empowering them with insights into the IT industry and fostering their professional growth. Additionally, I aspire to establish my own company in the future, where I can actively involve more women in the IT sphere, promoting diversity and inclusivity. Through these endeavors, I aim to make a lasting impact by creating opportunities and inspiring other women to pursue successful careers in technology.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Management of IT companies, their policies and tools used.
  2. How AI tools are used in programming and testing software programs.
  3. Approaches used by management to keep retention and avoid "brain drain".

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Participate in a skills-building course, either provided by my mentor’s company or identify a free resource online
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

I am currently working at an IT company that produces software programs, so during this program I would like to visit companies whose profile matches with ours. Also, I'm interested in developing a digital economy and seeing how it generates innovation and IT hubs, such as Silicon Valley, and how developing companies use their tools and software.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Responsible
  2. Calm
  3. Reliable

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The guidance and insights gained from my mentor's extensive experience and expertise will enhance my knowledge of the industry's best practices, cutting-edge technologies, and global perspectives. This exposure will broaden my horizons, enabling me to bring innovative solutions and approaches to my work in my home country. Furthermore, this mentorship will foster valuable network connections, opening doors to international opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations. Ultimately, this collaboration will propel my career forward, equipping me with the skills, confidence, and global mindset needed to succeed in the dynamic and competitive IT landscape as I hope to get as many other women as possible in this field involved.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I hope to share the knowledge, skills, and networks gained during this program with colleagues, students, and aspiring women in the IT field. By organizing workshops, mentorship programs, and awareness campaigns, I would empower and encourage more women to pursue careers in technology. Additionally, I hope to collaborate with local organizations and policymakers to advocate for gender equality in the tech industry and drive initiatives that create a supportive environment for women in STEM. Through these efforts, I aim to catalyze positive change and contribute to the growth and advancement of my Tajikistan's tech ecosystem.
