What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

In my TechWomen mentorship, my most valuable contribution will be sharing knowledge. After the completion of my fellowship, drawing from experiences learned during the program, I am committed to creating a comprehensive guiding document that I will eagerly share with fellow mentees and will be kept in the host company's library for future use. This document will serve as a valuable resource, providing practical insights and tips to navigate the TechWomen mentorship program effectively. It will highlight various aspects such as guidance on seeking out opportunities for personal and professional growth and the importance of networking and building connections within the TechWomen community.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

1. Data analysis and visualization for data communication to effectively present and convey insights derived.

Ideally, I am interested in a mentorship within a dynamic company and organization that emphasizes data analytics and fosters a collaborative work environment. I thrive in environments that encourage continuous learning and growth. I would absolutely love to be able to go into the office to forge connections with my mentor and other colleagues.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Collaborating with a U.S. based mentor through the TechWomen program will have a significant impact on my career and professional path. Working with an experienced mentor will provide me with valuable guidance, industry insights and knowledge of the best practices. This collaboration will enhance my understanding of the U.S. tech industry and its global perspective. This program will expand my network, connecting me with professionals, opportunities and potential collaborations. The mentorship will also help me refine my skills, broaden my horizons and foster personal growth. Ultimately, this experience will empower me to make informed decisions, pursue exciting opportunities and contribute meaningfully to the tech field.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

The TechWomen program will help me to learn from other women in data sciences, information systems, and managers who made it in their respective companies in the development of data driven solutions. This will help me to grow career wise and make an impact in my organization using the knowledge and the professional experience acquired from my U.S. mentors. The young girls pursuing information technology courses that I aim to mentor face challenges of acquiring practical skills on entrepreneurship, public speaking and leadership. These factors hinder their career growth and limits their exposure to compete for different opportunities. I will leverage onto them the TechWomen experience.
