What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

It is unfortunate that the number of women in construction is much less than in other fields of work. As a civil engineer, I want to change this fact leading by example. My goal is to promote greater outreach to girls and women in this industry. Alongside this goal, I want to show foreign companies how they are not using the human resource potential to its full extent and make a change in how our workforce is utilized in underdeveloped countries.

1. Building standards and requirements for the U.S.A.
2. Personal development in leadership skills.
3. Renewal of cultural perception.

Ideal Company Type

I would like to see how developed construction is outside my country. I want to be involved in a company that deals with all types of construction, yet I am especially interested in the construction of skyscrapers in America. I want to gain a deeper understanding in how these skyscrapers were built and the programs used during the project. Another interest of mine is to see the organizational culture and attitude of companies and their employees. Lastly, in this ideal company, I would like to present my culture and values to the community during this period of time.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I believe that due to my perseverance within this industry, I will achieve my goals. The advantage of the TechWomen mentorship is that it acts as a catalyst for me. Thanks to this program, I can easily and quickly reach the level at which I see myself working towards. If I go to my goals and dreams, then later I can fly to them.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I plan to actively promote the TechWomen program by presenting at schools and universities. My first goal is to present at the school where I myself studied, as it is important for me that my alma mater see the result that has come from this program. I want to show my community that if they try hard enough, they will succeed in any field regardless of their gender, age, skin color and nationality.
