What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

Based on my experience and knowledge, I offer insights into the Central Asian and CIS education market, validated through MUGALIM's work. I have extensive experience in designing courses validated through teaching a Financial and Social Literacy course in a kindergarten for over a year. And developing user-friendly interfaces that reduced platform inquiries by 90%. Finally, I am highly open to new challenges and committed to collaborative work, dedicated to bringing value and making a positive contribution.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Understand the current direction of the educational tech industry and explore innovative companies and insights from experts.
  2. Gain practical experience in product management, including technical design, utilizing up-to-date frameworks for creating digital products and establishing and tracking metrics.
  3. Develop an entrepreneurial and growth mindset, expanding strategic thinking and long-term vision.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Have exposure to the company culture
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Have exposure to basic industry techniques
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms

Ideal Company Type

During my mentorship, I would greatly appreciate the company's guidance in the following areas: Exploring real companies at the forefront of educational technology and attending lectures by professionals or academic leaders in this field. As a former product manager in a large company with different principles, I am currently facing challenges in product development, technical understanding and task prioritization as I launch my own startup. I would like to engage in hands-on product department work to observe decision-making processes, metric tracking and team collaboration.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Open-minded
  2. Decisive
  3. Collaborative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I aim to gain experience and connections through the mentorship program, collaborating with a U.S. based mentor. My goal in this program is to figure out what skills and competencies I need to develop to create a successful educational tech company. I also believe that working with a mentor will help me to accelerate my technical skills, broaden my perspectives and connect with fellow educational tech leaders. Notably, I hope that this experience will support my ambitious goal of creating a leading educational technology company focused on educating future teachers.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Upon returning home, I'll utilize my knowledge to enhance my startup's operations, focusing on product development. We aim to create an AI-powered personal assistant for teachers, enabling interactive lesson planning and enhancing functional literacy. Currently testing the MVP. At MUGALIM, we prioritize STEM teacher training, hosting nationwide workshops and developing an online course for wider access. Post-mentorship, I'll create more resources and programs to advance teachers' STEM skills and events to enhance their crucial role in society's STEM education development. Participating in the mentorship program will allow us to better understand STEM education and improve our status as STEM educators.
