What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

My company, Eco Mons Vita, is currently contributing to the formation of a Circular Economy in Uzbekistan. Also, I am in the process of creating a Cleantech startup as I hope to share my experience on climate technology adaptation among small businesses and emerging markets in Central Asia. I want to contribute these insights of my transformational journey from a scientific approach to entrepreneurship and combine them for technology adoption and marketing. Lastly, I also make targeted social media post about my host companies and their products and gain awareness to the local market. I am happy to assist in evaluating prospective markets and serve as consultant in related domains during the TechWomen mentorship.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn about existing business models and green technologies that can be adopted in Uzbekistan.
  2. Learn about possibilities for joint-projects and outsourcing services my company can provide in renewable energy sectors.
  3. Work on 'Minimum Viable Product Use' case for my startups PestSZone and Woolican.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Have exposure to the company culture
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company

Ideal Company Type

I am working on two startups which are currently at the prototyping and MVP stages. My first startup, Woolican, is like Etsy but for circular designed crafted substitutes of plastic. I want to incorporate business-to-business sales for companies looking to have a zero-carbon footprint in their purchases. My second startup is PestSZone, a warehouse digital system for pesticide handling and container lifecycle information in one platform. This will be beneficial for pesticide producers, dispatch centers, distributors, farmers and recyclers, in which I am interested to learn more about their processes. Both of my startups and their websites can be found here: https://woolican.renderforestsites.com/ https://pestszone.renderforestsites.com/

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Creative
  2. Nurturing
  3. Disciplined

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

In cooperation with my mentor, I hope to learn and improve in many different aspects. I hope to find my own style of public speaking and self-presentation. I want to boost my entrepreneurial approach and my way of "big thinking". I want to learn about how to approach international customers and different green technology programs. Lastly, I want to gain more knowledge on how to create an entry market strategy for the startups I am currently working on.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

My objective after the TechWomen program is to get acquainted and build long-term connections with specialists and green tech companies and push forward new partnership projects and business models to contribute to the Circular Economy in Central Asia. With this, I hope to bring advanced and adaptable technology to the region and work on establishing a center for technology trade and investment. I want to use my newly established institutional ties and skills to attract a startup community for climate change solutions. Lastly, I want to work on establishing a startup studio that aims to fix issues of resource efficiency through digitalization in waste management, agricultural production, food consumption, water and renewable energy.
