My most valuable contribution to my mentorship will be my dedication, eagerness to learn and strong work ethic. I am committed to making the most of this opportunity by engaging with my mentor, asking insightful questions and actively seeking feedback. I will bring a positive attitude, an open-mind and a willingness to step out of my comfort zone to embrace new challenges and opportunities. My adaptable and collaborative nature allows me to thrive in team environments, fostering a positive atmosphere. Additionally, my commitment to empowering women will drive me to contribute to the TechWomen network, sharing knowledge and advocating for equality.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Understand the development and implementation of health informatics solutions.
  2. Improve database administration skills.

My ideal company type is a large organization with a diverse community. As I continue to explore my career path, I am eager to gain exposure to various areas within a company. I believe that experiencing different departments and functions will provide me with a well-rounded understanding of how the company operates and the opportunity to develop a versatile skill set. This also will lead me to explore new avenues and broaden my skills in different sectors, enabling me to bring a unique perspective and adaptability to any role I undertake. By the end of this experience, my aim is to have a clear career path in the field of IT, where I can leverage my skills, passion, and expertise to make a significant impact and contribute to the success of any organization.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The TechWomen mentorship program has the potential to greatly impact my career and professional path. With experienced mentors guiding and supporting me, I can navigate challenges, make informed decisions and enhance my skills. By connecting with industry professionals, I can expand my network and gain insights into the latest trends. This mentorship will boost my confidence, help me overcome self-doubt and develop a clear career plan. Overall, the mentorship program will have a significant and positive influence on my professional growth, enabling me to achieve success in my field.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participating in the TechWomen program, I will leverage my experience to make a positive impact in my home country. I plan to collaborate with my university to organize workshops for young girls starting their tech journey and create a safe space for them to learn and grow. Additionally, I will join civil society organizations that empower women in technology, advocating for equal opportunities and mentoring aspiring technologists. Through these efforts, I aim to inspire and empower more women to pursue tech careers, bridging the gender gap and contributing to the growth of my country.
