What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

My unique perspective in my role allows me to bridge diverse operational contexts effectively. Leading a team of ambitious women, I am passionate about fostering collaborative leadership and empowering women in STEM. Additionally, my role as a Girl Scouts leader has honed my skills in community engagement and mentorship. I am eager to contribute these insights and experiences to enrich the TechWomen mentorship community.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn best practices for implementing automated systems to ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data.
  2. How to developing live dashboards to provide immediate insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
  3. Learn effective ways to utilize artificial intelligence to analyze customer behaviors, predict trends and inform credit assessments.

  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor would be a data-driven leader from a mid- to large-sized organization specializing in shared services or enterprise data management. They'd have a proven track record in implementing AI-powered analytics, automating data governance processes, and developing real-time dashboards to support strategic decision-making. My ideal mentor is someone who excels in leadership, team development and empowers others through mentorship and manages cross-functional teams effectively. I value a mentor who fosters innovation, emphasizes continuous improvement and supports the growth of women in tech leadership. My ideal company is one that has a collaborative culture that encourages cross-functional learning and embraces digital transformation.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

This is going to be a unique opportunity to enhance my professional growth by gaining insights into advanced data management practices. Through this experience, I aim to learn about automating data governance processes, developing real-time analytics dashboards and leveraging AI for analysis such as customer behavior. These skills will support my goal of transforming my department into a proactive, analytics-driven unit that contributes strategically to our organization's success. Additionally, the mentorship will help me refine my leadership and team management abilities and expand my professional network, fostering continuous learning and innovation.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Through the TechWomen program, I aim to acquire advanced skills in data analytics and AI, which I will share with my colleagues to enhance our operations and foster innovation. As a leader in the Girl Scouts, I am committed to mentoring young women in STEM, using the insights and networks gained from TechWomen to inspire and empower the next generation. This experience will enable me to bridge knowledge gaps and promote technological advancement within my community.
