What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I will bring a decade of hands-on experience innovating within the banking sector, combining deep technical expertise with strategic vision in AI and digital transformation. My background in developing and implementing software solutions, leading cross-cultural teams and navigating complex regulatory environments offers valuable insights. I am passionate about bridging technology and people, especially in empowering women in STEM and fostering innovation. By sharing my experiences in driving change amid challenges like resistance to new technologies and limited regional resources, I aim to enrich our mentorship exchange and contribute a unique perspective grounded in resilience and collaboration.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. AI applications to real-world decision systems.
  2. How to advance data strategy for innovation.
  3. Gain leadership skills to grow cross-cultural, tech-driven projects.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Have exposure to specialized industry techniques
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

I would be ideally matched with a mentor in a medium-to-large technology company or an innovative consulting firm at the intersection of technology and business, with a strong focus on data science, AI integration and digital transformation, within a collaborative and cross-cultural environment. I'm seeking a mentor with experience in applying AI to evaluate and optimize business processes, including big data analysis, to solve real-world problems, leading a variety of cross-functional teams, and shaping data strategies that drive innovation and fairness. A mentor who champions women in STEM and understands the complexities of public-sector or international development work would be a perfect match.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Analytical
  2. Principled
  3. Collaborative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

This 15-day mentorship will accelerate my ability to apply AI-driven decision systems in practical settings, enhancing my technical and strategic skills. It will also deepen my understanding of data strategies that promote innovation and ethical impact, aligning with my goal to drive transformative projects in technology and business. Learning from a U.S.-based mentor with cross-cultural leadership experience will strengthen my capacity to lead wide-ranging, tech-focused teams effectively, fostering collaborations that drive positive change in the region.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Post-TechWomen, I'll drive change in Turkmenistan by enhancing AI capacity in finance via training programs, empowering women in STEM by expanding AI-focused initiatives like Technovation Girls and fostering international collaborations to introduce cutting-edge technologies. I aim to address legislative gaps and regional resistance to tech adoption by advocating for supportive policies and building user confidence through targeted training, promoting innovation and collaboration.
