What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I hope to contribute a unique perspective shaped by my engineering background, my work in climate policy and youth advocacy, and the lived experience of building solutions in a country facing intersecting crises. I bring a deep understanding of circular systems, renewable energy innovation and community-driven development. I'm eager to share insights from Lebanon and the MENA region, exchange grassroots approaches to sustainability, and contribute meaningfully to professional dialogues. I also bring strong collaboration, creativity and purpose: qualities I believe will enrich the mentorship experience and foster a powerful two-way learning journey.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. How to scale clean energy solutions for communities.
  2. Learn how to integrate circular economy into engineering projects.
  3. Hone strategic leadership skills in sustainability innovation.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company-wide meetings and/or team meetings
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor works at a mission-driven organization or global consultancy focused on renewable energy, circular economy or climate innovation. I'm drawn to environments that blend technical excellence with purpose, offering exposure to real-world projects, strategic thinking and sustainability leadership. A mentor with experience scaling clean solutions in resource-constrained settings would be especially valuable. I thrive in collaborative, high-impact cultures that value mentorship, diverse perspectives and long-term growth. Through this mentorship, I hope to gain insights, build networks and explore future opportunities in sustainability consulting and innovation, especially in regions facing environmental and energy challenges.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Motivated
  2. Innovative
  3. Collaborative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I hope the 15-day mentorship will accelerate my technical skills in renewable energy and sustainable systems, especially scaling waste-to-energy and circular economy solutions. Working closely with a U.S.-based mentor will expose me to cutting-edge practices, strategic problem-solving and project management in a high-impact environment. This experience will enhance my leadership and communication abilities, preparing me to lead community-driven sustainability projects in Lebanon. Additionally, the mentorship will expand my professional network, opening doors to collaborations and career opportunities in sustainability consulting and clean technology innovation, enabling me to create lasting environmental and social impact.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After TechWomen, I will use the knowledge, network, and mentorship I gain to ignite a movement of sustainability and innovation in Lebanon. My goal is to inspire and equip the next generation of climate leaders through education, mentorship and bold initiatives that rethink how we approach energy, waste and resilience. I aim to create ripple effects that extend beyond individual projects shaping mindsets, influencing systems and driving collective action. TechWomen is not just a milestone in my career, it's a catalyst to transform my country's future through purpose-driven leadership and global collaboration.
