What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I bring a unique blend of academic research and social entrepreneurial experience, grounded in the economic realities of Central Asia. I'm skilled in data analysis, policy research and managing projects, so I can offer both strong analytical thinking and fresh ideas. Through my work on startups, I offer insights into building comprehensive, tech-enabled platforms. I also hope to share perspectives on economic development in emerging markets and the challenges faced by women in STEM in Kyrgyzstan. I'm excited to collaborate, exchange knowledge and contribute to a mutually rewarding mentorship experience.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Build skills in managing products that meet user requirements and market expectations.
  2. Strengthen research and data analysis skills.
  3. Gain insights into startup operations, including business models, growth strategies and effective scaling methodologies.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Participate in a skills-building course, either provided by my mentor’s company or identify a free resource online
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

An ideal mentor for me would be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing scalable technology solutions and a strong foundation in research-driven product development. They would be part of a large, mission-driven organization operating at the intersection of technology and social impact. A collaborative and expansive company culture that emphasizes innovation, continuous learning and community engagement aligns well with my aspirations. Such a mentor would provide valuable insights into startup operations, product management and strategies to advance my professional journey.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Initiative
  2. Analytical
  3. Versatile

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Participating in the TechWomen mentorship program offers a unique opportunity to enhance my professional development. By collaborating with mentors at leading tech companies, I will gain hands-on experience in product management, research methodologies and startup operations. Engaging in workshops and mentorship sessions will prepare me for greater leadership roles. As I continue my academic research and work on an edtech project, I look forward to connecting with tech professionals across the U.S. and globally, explore collaboration opportunities and insights into new markets. This experience will help strengthen both my academic pursuits and professional journey.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Following the TechWomen mentorship program, I plan to apply my newly acquired skills and insights to advance my academic research at the university. The practical knowledge in product management and startup ecosystems will be especially valuable for the project I'm working on, which integrates AI into research and learning platform. The project aims to enhance openness and foster innovation in Kyrgyzstan's education sector. By bridging technology with education, I hope to contribute to building a more collaborative academic environment and empower students and researchers through engaging digital solutions.
