What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I bring a unique blend of clinical experience, research, and cultural insight from working in fragile health systems. With a deep understanding of the challenges facing women's health in low-resource settings, I am passionate about designing inclusive, evidence-based solutions that address these challenges. I hope to contribute to a mentorship grounded in shared values, reciprocal understanding, and a commitment to advancing global health for women.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Strengthen Leadership skills and Public speaking
  2. Learn about the application of AI in women and reproductive Health
  3. Explore digital health product development

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company meetings
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

I would value a mentor from a mission-driven organization focused on research, healthcare, digital innovation, or global health policy. Ideally, they would work in a mid-sized to large company or nonprofit with a collaborative and inclusive culture. I seek someone with experience in product development, impact-driven leadership, or women's health-focused initiatives. A mentor who understands low-resource settings or has worked in cross-cultural contexts would be an ideal match to support my vision of making health care accessible and equitable for women, especially.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Compassionate
  2. Purposeful
  3. Ambitious

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I hope this mentorship will support both my professional and personal growth. As a clinician and aspiring researcher, I am eager to understand how digital health products are designed, tested, and scaled particularly for women in low-resource settings. I would value learning from a mentor with experience navigating innovation in complex systems, who can guide me in bridging healthcare and technology effectively. This opportunity will allow me to explore new ideas, build lasting professional relationships, and strengthen the skills and confidence I need to lead culturally responsive, impactful solutions in women's health.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

As a clinician, I plan to leverage the TechWomen experience to improve maternal and women's health in Sierra Leone. My goal is to collaborate with local health systems to adapt scalable digital tools that enhance access to mental health and reproductive care. Through mentorship and leadership development programs, I aim to empower young women in STEM and health fields. By integrating global insights with culturally grounded approaches, I hope to establish sustainable, community-led solutions that uplift women's well-being and amplify their voices.
