What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

My most valuable contribution to the TechWomen mentorship experience will be sharing my expertise in using AI-powered tools—such as video, image, voice and presentation generators, Microsoft Stream, Sway, Forms and interactive platforms like Kahoot, Slido and Mentimeter—to enhance learning and engagement. I also hope to contribute culturally by organizing a Lebanese Cultural Day where I can share traditional dishes like tabbouleh, fattoush and tawook, and introduce the vibrant Dabke dance. Through both technology and culture, I aim to foster meaningful exchange, creativity and collaboration within the TechWomen community.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Understand how AI tools and models are developed and applied in education by exploring the processes of data collection, training and deployment, and examining their use in adaptive learning, automated assessment and personalized feedback systems.
  2. Explore how digital media enhances teaching and learning by enabling the creation of interactive, multimedia-rich content that supports varied learning styles, improves engagement and facilitates clearer communication of complex concepts.
  3. Explore how emerging educational technologies are transforming teaching methods by enabling more interactive, student-centered and flexible learning experiences across both physical and digital classrooms.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Participate in a skills-building course, either provided by my mentor’s company or identify a free resource online
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor would work in the EdTech industry within a mid-sized, innovation-focused organization that champions creativity, coding and hands-on learning. The company would foster a dynamic culture that encourages participation in science fairs, tech challenges and entrepreneurial initiatives to spark curiosity and real-world problem-solving. I seek a mentor who inspires innovation through emerging technologies, supports student-led projects and nurtures a mindset of resilience, initiative and leadership. Their guidance would help me explore how coding and digital tools can drive meaningful educational change and empower learners to become creators, innovators and future entrepreneurs.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Innovative
  2. Ambitious
  3. Adventurous

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

To achieve my goals, I need deeper knowledge in managing people with disabilities, as well as in labor market analysis. This will help me better prepare women with disabilities to enter the workforce and find employment. In our society, it is often difficult for even healthy people to meet their needs, and for migrant women, women with disabilities and women from low-income families, it is twice as hard. I aim to learn more about modern online resources and platforms to create projects that will help achieve my goal. I want to leverage all available tools, institutions, and opportunities to support at least a portion of individuals who have lost hope of securing a decent job and salary, helping them change their perspectives and realize that life can still offer them the chance to feel valued in the job market.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participating in the TechWomen program, I will build on my experience organizing the annual science fair Mobarat El Oloum by introducing new tech-driven themes and expanding student participation. I also plan to scale the coding camp we previously launched with a local NGO, making it a recurring initiative in schools. Additionally, I aim to explore how to establish an educational technology consultancy that supports schools in integrating innovative tools and teaching methods. This mentorship will provide the global insights and strategic guidance I need to lead impactful, tech-enabled educational initiatives in my community.
