What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I bring a unique blend of technical expertise in mechanical engineering, space technology and AI-driven STEM education, combined with experience leading a diverse team of 150 volunteers through MENA's pioneering space and STEM initiatives. I offer a fresh perspective from the MENA region, sharing insights on fostering innovation and gender inclusion in a traditionally underrepresented context. I am eager to contribute through collaborative problem-solving, cross-cultural exchange and by sharing my leadership experience in building impactful community-driven projects. Together, we can create meaningful solutions and inspire a global network of changemakers.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn mechanical design skills for space exploration technologies.
  2. Innovate sustainable engineering systems with environmental impact.
  3. Develop AI-driven tools to enhance STEM education.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home

Ideal Company Type

I seek a mentor from a technology-driven company specializing in engineering and space technology, emphasizing innovation and advanced solutions. Ideally, the organization is medium to large-sized with a collaborative, inclusive culture that fosters creativity and forward-thinking. I am especially interested in mentors who use AI and advanced engineering to address complex challenges in space exploration, design or STEM education technologies. My goal is to leverage AI in STEM and space fields to inspire and empower my community through innovative skills and educational methods. I am motivated by hands-on learning, visionary leadership and impactful technology development.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Innovative
  2. Resilient
  3. Visionary

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The 15-day mentorship with a U.S.-based mentor will accelerate my professional growth by providing hands-on guidance in advanced engineering, mechanical design and sustainable space and environment technology solutions. It will strengthen my technical skills, expose me to best practices in innovative system development and offer insights into effective leadership and project management. Additionally, I aim to expand my knowledge in applying AI to STEM education and space exploration. This experience will connect me with global networks and collaborations, empowering me to lead impactful, inclusive initiatives and advance the region's engineering, space technology and education sectors.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participating in the TechWomen program, I will leverage my mentorship experience to enhance the impact of MENA Engineering Education and Training, the organization I founded with over 150 active members. I will integrate the knowledge gained in advanced engineering, sustainable systems and AI applications into our workshops, lectures and hands-on projects for youth and women in STEM and space fields. I plan to expand our programs, build new international collaborations and inspire more young people through innovative, practical learning opportunities that foster leadership and inclusivity in Jordan and the region.
