What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I hope to contribute to the TechWomen mentorship experience by sharing my expertise in product, project and program management, as well as IT business analysis. My experience leading Rwanda's digital transformation journey has sharpened my organizational and analytical skills, which I look forward to exchanging with peers and mentors. I also bring a unique perspective on driving tech initiatives in the public sector and navigating challenges as a woman in leadership. Through open, honest conversations and cross-cultural learning, I aim to contribute meaningfully to the community while gaining new insights to grow personally and professionally.

  1. Hone strategic thinking, decision-making and leadership skills with an ultimate goal of helping my organization and my country towards being data-driven.
  2. Learn how AI can be used to improve delivery of public services.
  3. Learn how to advocate for ICT sector policies, strategies and standards that foster collaboration and innovation, and encourage women to actively participate in ICT.

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor works in a large, innovative tech organization or a public sector tech entity with over 100 employees. They are a seasoned leader driving advancements in data management, data governance, digital transformation and AI implementation. This mentor embraces a collaborative, forward-thinking culture that values ethical technology use and collaborative leadership. Importantly, they are open to co-learning and embrace my country's context to understand how best to support. I seek guidance from this amazing mentor on leadership, strategic decision-making and leveraging emerging technologies to create sustainable, data-driven solutions that address real-world challenges.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Reliable
  2. Analytical
  3. Decisive

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I aspire to lead in shaping Rwanda's ICT sector through effective policies, strategies, technology standards and innovation. To influence effectively, I seek to grow in strategic thinking, decision-making and leadership. In my current role, I aim to develop practical skills to drive Rwanda's data revolution by strengthening existing initiatives and envisioning new ones. Through TechWomen, I hope to gain the confidence, guidance and tools to inspire and be inspired by other women in tech. I'm also excited to expand my perspective and connect with a global network of mentors and peers driving meaningful change.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After TechWomen, I aim to help shape Rwanda's ICT sector through innovative and collaborative policies, strategies and standards that supports and encourages more women to thrive in tech. With the skills and exposure I will gain, I plan to address current gaps, like limited digital accessibility and the lack of inclusive IT standards. As a leader in data initiatives, I'll apply global insights to drive Rwanda's vision of becoming a data-driven nation and laying the groundwork for AI adoption. The program will strengthen my leadership, inspire innovative solutions, and support my mission to make digital transformation impactful and locally relevant.
