What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I hope to bring a new perspective from working in a growing tech scene like Albania's, where we often do a lot with limited resources. I'm excited to share what I've learned about being adaptable and building from the ground up. I'm curious about how people tackle real challenges, making tech more ethical, practical and accessible. I hope to exchange ideas and learn from different perspectives that can make a real impact in my community. I'll share my own experiences navigating the tech world from a smaller country and hopefully offer insights that add value to the group.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Gain skills in building scalable AI systems.
  2. Learn ways of applying synthetic data for training.
  3. Expand my leadership skills to thrive in tech-driven environments.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Have exposure to the company culture
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home
  • Have exposure to specialized industry techniques
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor works at a tech company that's driving innovation in AI, especially in areas like synthetic data, intelligent edge computing or privacy-first machine learning. I'm looking for someone who's not only experienced in applying AI to real-world problems, but who also values collaboration and ethical tech development. It's important to me that they enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others grow. I hope to learn from someone who combines technical expertise with strategic thinking, and who can guide me in making a meaningful impact through AI.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Curious
  2. Driven
  3. Reliable

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

This mentorship will help me deepen my understanding of how AI is applied in real-world settings, especially in areas like synthetic data and edge computing. I'm excited to learn directly from U.S.-based professionals about turning research into practical, scalable solutions. I also hope to see how global companies approach ethical AI and create inclusive, innovative environments. Most of all, I'm looking forward to connecting with a mentor who can offer guidance on growing professionally and collaborating across borders in the tech world.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I'm currently helping grow AI education as Chair of the Information and Intelligent Systems Department, and I support startups as a consultant and mentor. As a Women Techmakers Ambassador, I also lead community efforts to bring more women and youth into tech. After TechWomen, I'll build on this work by bringing in fresh ideas from the global tech scene, making my teaching more impactful and creating new opportunities for others to learn and lead. This experience will help me grow my impact and continue inspiring change in Albania.
