What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

My most valuable contribution to the TechWomen mentorship experience will be sharing my extensive knowledge in logistics and customs management within the renewable energy sector. With 19 years of experience, I can provide insights on optimizing supply chains, navigating compliance challenges, and effectively managing projects related to solar energy and wind turbines. Additionally, my cultural insights and experiences working across diverse teams will foster collaboration and understanding among participants. I aim to facilitate meaningful discussions, encourage innovative thinking, and contribute to a rich exchange of ideas that enhances everyone's learning and growth.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Gain exposure to advanced renewable energy technologies.
  2. Learn best practices in database management, specifically within SAP software modules such as SAP SCM and SAP TM.
  3. Learn about effective team management, decision-making strategies and how to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company-wide meetings and/or team meetings
  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor match would be in the renewable energy sector, preferably within a mid-sized company that emphasizes innovation and sustainability. I seek a mentor who values collaboration and knowledge sharing, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. The company should focus on cutting-edge technologies and solutions that address energy efficiency and environmental impact. A mentor with experience in both technical and strategic aspects of the industry would be ideal, as I aim to gain insights into effective leadership practices and industry trends.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Reliable
  2. Hard-working
  3. Analytical

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The TechWomen mentorship experience will have a great impact on my professional growth due to the networking and skill development opportunities presented by the program. Further, gaining a deeper understanding the nuances of the U.S. business environment, including regulatory frameworks and operational standards related to renewable energy, will enhance my ability to navigate international logistics and customs challenges effectively. Finally, this experience will also foster my personal development by challenging me to step out of my comfort zone, embrace new perspectives, and grow my confidence as a leader in the renewable energy logistics field.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participating in the TechWomen program, I plan to use my new skills and connections to make a positive impact in my home country and community as we collaborate on impactful projects. Additionally, I plan to join the USG alumni network to work on initiatives they have planned for 2025-2026, combining efforts to address shared goals. Using the leadership and technical skills I gain from the program, I aim to improve operational processes in the energy and logistics sectors, which play a key role in our country's economic growth.
