What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

Growing up in a highly international Korean family with Kazakh and Ukrainian roots in Uzbekistan shaped my appreciation for cross-cultural exchange. As a product manager in FinTech with experience in both Moscow and Tashkent, I look forward to sharing what it's like to operate in vastly different financial ecosystems. I hope to contribute insights into product development in card onboarding, international money transfers, and how FinTech is evolving in Uzbekistan.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Utilize AI tools in fintech and incorporate AI assistance in daily workflows.
  2. Create innovations and build great teams in the FinTech sector.
  3. Gain exposure to entrepreneurial fintech endeavors.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company-wide meetings and/or team meetings
  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor is a seasoned leader from a well-known, large tech company (preferably with 1000+ employees). They have deep expertise in innovation, particularly in FinTech, e-commerce or AI technologies, and are genuinely willing to share their knowledge and experience. They are highly professional, with extensive experience in business strategy, product leadership and public speaking. Beyond their technical and business acumen, my mentor is empathy-driven and strongly values well-being and people-centric leadership.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Ambitious
  2. Curious
  3. Responsible

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

During the 15-day mentorship with a U.S.-based C-level product leader, I aim to strengthen my leadership and strategic thinking skills to grow from a senior product role to Head of Product in my company. Working in FinTech with a focus on international money transfers, I'm especially eager to understand product-market fit across different regions and cultural contexts. This mentorship will give me practical insights into leading cross-functional teams, scaling global products, and applying AI-driven innovation, while also helping me build the mindset and capabilities of a strong, people-oriented product leader.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After TechWomen, I will strengthen product leadership within my company and contribute to the growth of my country's FinTech ecosystem. As an active member of Women in Tech, I will mentor young women exploring careers in STEM and IT. I will share knowledge on user-centered product development, ethical innovation, and global strategies through workshops and community events.
