Hajer Saoudi

What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I bring a unique blend of scientific expertise, entrepreneurial resilience and cross-cultural vision. As a founder building a deeptech, impact-driven company between Europe and Africa, I can offer insights on sustainable innovation, circular economy, and women's leadership in emerging markets. I enjoy sharing knowledge and co-creating with intention. I hope to bring presence, perspective, and inspiration to the mentor relationship and to show that science, when rooted in soul and sustainability, can become a powerful force for global change.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn strategies for scaling a global, deep tech startup.
  2. How to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  3. Lead innovation with purpose and impact.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Expand on a project that I’m working on in my current role at home
  • Have exposure to specialized industry techniques
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

An ideal mentor works in a purpose-driven company focused on green technology, sustainability, and innovation. The company supports women in science and impact-driven leadership. I'm looking for someone who understands how to grow a deeptech venture with integrity, clarity, and long-term vision.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Visionary
  2. Resilient
  3. Purpose-driven

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I hope this mentorship will help me refine my strategic roadmap, strengthen my leadership and scale my company globally without compromising my values. I want to gain insight from women leaders who have grown impactful businesses rooted in science and sustainability. This experience will also help me explore U.S. partnerships, better position my innovation for international markets, and find balance between ambition, clarity and alignment. I'm looking for mentorship that connects vision and execution, and helps transform a meaningful project into a global regenerative company.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I will use this mentorship to strengthen the circular economy ecosystem in Tunisia and across the Mediterranean. By sharing what I learn with local startups, mentoring young women in science, and expanding my bio-innovation project TheoCapt, I aim to foster sustainable growth rooted in local resources. I will also work to build bridges between North Africa and the U.S. innovation scene, positioning Tunisia not just as a manufacturing zone, but as a hub for ethical, science-driven innovation.
