What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I hope my most valuable contribution to the TechWomen mentorship experience will be my unique blend of clinical research expertise, health economics insight and passion for digital innovation—rooted in real-world challenges from the MENA region. I bring a cross-cultural perspective shaped by leading multinational trials and collaborating with wide-ranging healthcare stakeholders. As a new mom balancing professional growth and caregiving, I also offer a grounded perspective on resilience, empathy and comprehensive innovation. I look forward to sharing my experiences, co-creating solutions, and contributing to a rich exchange of ideas that bridges global health impartiality with local impact.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Designing fair and comprehensive digital health solutions using AI.
  2. Leadership strategies for managing cross-functional research and tech teams.
  3. Building scalable models for equitable clinical trial recruitment.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Have exposure to specialized industry techniques

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor works in a mid-to-large sized organization focused on digital health or research innovation. The company fosters a collaborative, mission-driven culture that values fairness, scientific integrity, and real-world impact. I seek a mentor experienced in leading global, multidisciplinary teams and developing scalable health solutions—especially in comprehensive clinical trials and digital therapeutics. A background in public health, data science or health policy would be ideal. I value a mentor who encourages growth, shares strategic insights and champions women in health tech leadership.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Analytical
  2. Driven
  3. Collaborative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

By working closely with a U.S.-based mentor, I hope to enhance my leadership skills, refine my approach to inclusive clinical trial design and learn advanced data-driven methods for health technology assessment. This experience will also broaden my professional network, expose me to global standards and inspire new strategies to implement in my region. Ultimately, it will accelerate my journey toward becoming a leader in fair, tech-enabled healthcare solutions.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I will apply my mentorship experience to advance all-encompassing and data-driven healthcare initiatives in my home country. I plan to lead capacity-building workshops for early-career researchers and healthcare professionals, focusing on digital health tools, clinical trial variety and evidence-based policymaking. I will also collaborate with local institutions to promote fair research practices and foster innovation in public health. By sharing knowledge and building networks, I aim to empower more women in health tech and contribute to a more all-engaging, tech-enabled healthcare ecosystem in my community.
