#ELoftheDay: Meet the 2020-2021 Emerging Leaders

August 13, 2020 By TechWomen Leave a Comment

Starting next month, TechWomen will welcome a new cohort of 108 Emerging Leaders (ELs) to a virtual platform as their TechWomen journey officially begins. Throughout the fall and winter, ELs will be guided through the action planning process by Impact Coaches and fellow Peer Advisors to start brainstorming a solution to a socioeconomic issue in their home communities. By next spring, TechWomen hopes to welcome the ELs to the San Francisco Bay Area to pitch their action plans as well as transition into their professional and cultural mentorship experiences.

This year’s participants have already shown perseverance, innovation and adaptability in the face on an on-going global pandemic. They represent the next generation of leaders in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from 21 countries in Africa, Central and South Asia and the Middle East.

Learn more about the amazing 2020-2021 cohort through our #ELoftheDay campaign, where we introduce each EL and highlight their inspirations and motivations for joining TechWomen. Follow us through the #ELoftheDay tag on our Twitter and Instagram.

Below is a preview of some of the 108 ELs we have already featured for the campaign. Follow us on social media to see who we feature next!
