What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
The TechWomen mentorship will be the ideal opportunity for me to emerge as a model woman engineering instructor in my country. This mentorship will foster my creative thinking and enhance my confidence and knowledge. I will learn engineering concepts and innovative ways of doing things. It will help me become a more capable instructor, strengthen my ability to teach better and create an environment filled with stimulating conversations about interesting and clear concepts. This opportunity will broaden my vision, nurture my professional growth and support me to reach my full potential.
What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?
I will work on a collaborative project with the host company that aligns with my expertise and the needs of the host company. I will work with focus and commitment to deliver results. When people from different cultures collaborate, new ideas are generated, which can lead to the development of nations. Diversity unlocks innovation and drives growth by forming better teams and allowing ideas and decisions to be continuously challenged. The host company will also have an opportunity to learn from my experience as they meet a woman in the technological field from an underdeveloped country.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
I will share rich ideas and the expertise gained during my mentorship with prospective learners back home. The TechWomen program also fosters strong professional bonds between like-minded professionals. I will be a part of that strong network and get updates about new developments in my areas of expertise, which I can share with my colleagues and students in my community. After becoming an Emerging Leader in the TechWomen program, I would also like to be a part of delegation trips that visit my country to empower and inspire young women to enter STEM careers
