  1. Understand the concept of coherently balancing climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies through the interface of sustainable energy management.

Ideal Company Type

My ideal company is a green tech company with a strong workplace community and a foundation for growth and success. This company allows experienced employees to share institutional knowledge and skills, and to discuss both successes and challenges regularly. It should also provide opportunities for people who don't work together regularly to touch base and collaborate in a structured way even during times of isolation or physical distance.

  1. Sincere
  2. Curious
  3. Flexible

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I will learn critical skills and expertise that will prepare me for expanded opportunities to succeed in my career path. I will gain new perspectives of problem solving, communication, innovation and entrepreneurism. Lastly, I will build strong and lasting relationships with mentors and emerging women leaders in similar fields. The exposure, combined with the skills and knowledge acquired, will position me as a leading expert in my field.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Being an active alumnus of my former school and also the coordinator of the mentorship program, I will share my experiences to make the mentorship more effective and beneficial to both mentor and mentee. I will also be a role model to women and girls in my community and work, as I would have honed my leadership skill to motivate, teach and inspire girls in STEM courses. In addition, I would have garnered a renewed spirit and positive mindset for career progression. Lastly, I will be an ambassador and an active member of the Sierra Leone Techwomen Alumnae.
