Additional Technical Skills
What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?
What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
The mentorship will contribute to my professional growth by providing access to the innovative tech environment of Silicon Valley. I believe the mentorship will strengthen my understanding of digital solutions for retail and SME financing, which I will share with my clients in Central Asia in order to provide strategic advisory services. The most valuable contribution will be the lifelong network of friends who are willing to change the systems and provide equal access to finance and opportunities for running a business in underdeveloped areas, which will foster an environment conducive to better education and quality of life.
What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?
First, with six years of experience in markets in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajkistan and Uzbekistan I will bring granular insights into Central Asia to my host company through an economic and cultural lens. Second, I can be an ambassador of the company in Central Asia, connecting it a market with a population of 72 million people. I can also add to my host company’s CSR through a project I contribute to called Atlas of Dreams. We collected the dreams of 600 girls in Kyrgyzstan which are now exhibited in the main square. It would be wonderful to implement the project in the USA as well.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
There are three ways I am going to leverage my experience at TechWomen experience and network. First, I will have the chance to enhance my technical skills in understanding CRM systems, BI and analytics, which will lead to the development of enhanced strategies for retail and SME banking in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Second, the expanded network of open-minded professionals is the most valuable asset to have in order to seek advice on equal access to financial services by keeping costs low and service prices reasonable to improve conditions for SME businesses.
