What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

I'm good at asking questions that help people discover their true desires without imposing my own thoughts. I can assist with managing corporate and personal LinkedIn accounts, building personal brands, and overcoming the fear of public sharing. I'm skilled at finding and establishing non-obvious connections between partners. Additionally, I offer a fresh perspective on a company, which is essential for long-term employees who may assume their company's reputation is well-known. Simplifying complex ideas and explaining them clearly to others, as well as to oneself, is another strength I might bring to the table.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. How to use AI tools in digital marketing for startups in deep-tech.
  2. How to apply AI and machine learning technologies in education.
  3. Data analysis and visualization for data communication to effectively present and convey insights.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company meetings
  • Participate in a skills-building course, either provided by my mentor’s company or identify a free resource online
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

I'd like a mentorship in a dynamic tech company (preferably in headquarters) which has developed a product with global impact, practices genuine corporate social responsibility, and streamlined business processes. My ideal mentor is a senior tech professional with strong leadership and entrepreneurial background, or a chief commercial/marketing executive with solid tech knowledge. A professional that simplifies complex topics and leads a team of bright professionals.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Outgoing
  2. Initiative
  3. Considerate

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

In Kazakhstan, as in many developing countries, collaborating with a U.S.-based mentor is highly prestigious and offers significant reputational benefits. Personally, it would be life-changing for me. Observing how a mentor works, communicates with their team, and makes decisions would be invaluable. This experience will add substantial weight to my achievements and expertise, profoundly impacting my career and professional growth. Additionally, becoming part of a U.S. program's alumni society means joining a driven community of bright professionals dedicated to improving our country. Some of my previous managers are U.S. alumni, and I'm excited to join their ranks.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Since I was a kid, I watched many women settle for less and forgo their dreams to care for their families. I promised myself I would be different. Now, it's time to help others! In Kazakhstan, I plan to co-organize a business incubator for Kazakh-speaking only women entrepreneurs. Why? Many programs are in Russian, and in less than a year of consulting, I helped several struggling Kazakh-speaking businesswomen. I also want to inspire young girls and women to pursue careers in STEM. Why? At my last incubator, businesswomen from the capital needed more basic STEM knowledge to progress.
