The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Explore cutting edge technologies used in conservation of biodiversity to equip myself with technology-based mitigating approaches to combat climate change and its effects on floral diversity
  2. Strengthen my skills in my technical skills in my fields of interest while networking with other Emerging Leaders from different countries and companies in Silicon Valley
  3. Advance my leadership, project management and monitoring skills to empower myself to move in a male dominating society with great confidence while also encouraging young girls and women to acquire STEM educations to do the same

Mentorship Characteristic

  2. Hardworking
  3. Optimistic

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

It would be a dream coming true to work with a skilled and experienced woman scientist from entirely a different world for me. This mentorship will help me to develop strong leadership qualities, project management, communication and presentation skills. It will allow me to learn how to work in a challenging environment and how to complete our assignments and tasks well in time. It will also allow me to learn how I can effectively influence young girls and women of my community to choose STEM as a future career and how they can use it in their entrepreneurial goals.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

This experience will enable me to promote STEM education in my country among young girls and women. My organization arranges different international days including Women in Science Day, Biodiversity Day, Earth Day and many more, where we deliver lectures. I would use this platform to boost and encourage new generations to pursue a better career selection. I will also leverage my TechWomen experiential learning to influence the women in the local communities during my field expeditions and provide them with better understanding on biodiversity conservation, sustainable utilization of natural resources and using this information for economic growth.
