What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Through the TechWomen program, I will receive global experience in developing solutions in educational technology, STEM, and innovation for youth, specifically in rural areas. Doing so will enable me to expand the reach and impact of my own outreach programs, as I will be part of a robust, collaborative network of women with a shared vision to develop other women. This network will propel my skills in running a sustainable non-profit organisation. Thanks to them, I will have a clear vision and the necessary support to develop STEM and innovation centres within my community that are Africa-centered, yet meet a global standard.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I will advocate for more women to receive opportunities similar to TechWomen, as this will grow the network of influential women in my country. Through networks formed in the program, I will gather the technical expertise and support necessary to implement the STEM and innovation clubs and centres in the deep rural areas of South Africa. There, they can develop sustainable solutions for our societal challenges, and I will expand my outreach programs to reach more girls and women in deep rural areas.
