What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

By sharing my knowledge and mentoring others, I'm excited about the opportunity to bring my unique perspective to the table. Additionally, I am eager to learn from the diverse group of participants and mentors, gaining new skills, insights, and networks that will enhance my professional growth and enable me to make a huge impact in my career.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Deepen my understanding of cutting-edge practices in developing web applications using React and .NET technologies.
  2. Learn about designing scalable and sustainable software systems, including architectural principles and commonly used design patterns.
  3. Gain insights into effective project management methodologies and strategies.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company-wide meetings and/or team meetings
  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor match would be in the technology industry, particularly within a dynamic company focused on software development or technology solutions. Ideally, the company would be of medium to large size, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture where learning and professional growth are prioritized. I envision a mentor who is experienced in leading successful software projects, shares a passion for advancing technology, and values mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the team.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Reliable
  2. Assertive
  3. Collaborative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

My professional goals extend beyond technical expertise, I aim to evolve into a role where I can inspire others, especially women. I believe that my journey is a source of inspiration for women and my family, demonstrating that dreams are achievable through dedication. A TechWomen mentorship is essential, providing invaluable guidance in overcoming challenges. By participating in TechWomen, I aim to not only enhance my technical skills but also to develop the leadership qualities necessary to drive positive change in the tech community. I am confident that the mentorship offered by TechWomen will help me achieve my goals.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After completing the TechWomen program, I aim to harness its network by forging strategic alliances with local organizations. To bridge a vital community gap, I'll host workshops on women's rights, highlighting equal pay, and targeting professionals, students, and eager learners. Beyond sharing my TechWomen journey, these sessions will offer tailored skills and tips. I envision ongoing support, and nurturing mentorship. Recognizing education's value, I'll collaborate with local institutions to establish programming scholarships for young women. By merging TechWomen insights with local know-how, we can empower women through skill-building and mentorship, making a tangible community impact.
