The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship
- Software development processes for real-life automated systems that use artificial intelligence
- Technical innovations in healthcare, space exploration, home automation and/or agricultural industries
- Successful startup strategies and entrepreneurship skills
Ideal Company Type
I would prefer to be mentored by a company that generates solutions for existing problems or innovates technologies to widen human capabilities and opportunities. The company would focus on advancing traditional business practices by providing automated systems. It would be ideal if the company used artificial intelligence and/or robotics technologies. I would also like to be mentored in a positive and team-oriented culture driven by innovation.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
As I have been creating only web applications and working solo for more than five years, the TechWomen mentorship will be a strong starting point to move to the robotics and artificial intelligence areas and generate a feasible plan for my future startup. Working on a project and being directed by a mentor, as well as receiving feedback from professionals, will be an invaluable experience in self-development. I will also explore the levels of automation of the businesses in the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. I can master this knowledge and then offer it to the companies in my home country.
What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?
I will invest and exchange my experience in system analysis and software development and use my passion for innovative solutions to bring more value to the mentorship. I believe I will bring a fresh perspective with a diverse cultural and educational background. I will also share my knowledge of the market opportunities in Uzbekistan if they are interested. I could become a potential business partner from Central Asia if I successfully start my own business after the program.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
I will join other TechWomen Emerging Leaders from my country to encourage women to choose their professional path in STEM. We will conduct seminars and teach women and children technical skills. I will apply the gained experience to build my own dream business that will provide innovative solutions for local businesses and organizations. Since there is still a substantial gap in the IT industry in Uzbekistan, I will try to transform the ideas and practices learned from U.S. companies to the companies in my home country.
