What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

In my previous job, I was working in a non-operational role for some time in my organization. My role was switched to supervise operations after a couple of years. I worked on one drilling well in the current role and implemented lessons from previous wells to analyze risks from the offset wells. My team and I were able to deliver the fastest well in that concession with significant time and cost savings. I am a learner and result-oriented individual, and I can offer my project management skills to the host company.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Enhance leadership and public speaking skills to promote women in the oil and gas industry in Pakistan
  2. Enhance project management and people management within technical teams
  3. Learn about the utilization of data analytics in drilling engineering

  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company

Ideal Company Type

I would be glad to work in a globally operating company where I can experience working in multi-cultural teams. This company provides a platform for everyone to grow and learn and employees feel valued and motivated to work.

I want to redefine the mindset of the local industry towards women in technical disciplines.
