What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?

In Cameroon in particular and in Africa in general, we need the support from Americans companies to develop better. My contribution will be to teach them how we works in Cameroon and to put the company that will host me in contact with my community so that it can consider future work collaborations. They will be able to relocate to Africa and therefore increase their financial turnover.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Write all types of programs to create a startup.
  2. Set up an E-learning platform for young girl farmers and ICT students including meteo program.
  3. Work with some American companies from Cameroon.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Participate in a skills-building course, either provided by my mentor’s company or identify a free resource online
  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Have exposure to specialized industry techniques

Ideal Company Type

A big American companies which market several digital products very well used all over the world would be an asset. I am able to work with all people, I have no particular preference. Companies that also deal with the weather.

Programming Languages

  • MATLAB
  • PHP

Additional Technical Skills

During my career, I learned to create logos and market them, I also trained in Digital Marketing in order to increase the visibility and sales of young local companies. Write an acceleration program.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Serious
  2. Curious
  3. Assertive

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

In Cameroon, we are really interested in new technologies. Unfortunately, some training courses are not always within our reach either, because of the price, or they are not available in Cameroon and therefore you have to travel abroad. My mentor will help me to have a better vision of my professional future career. It will allow me to benefit from certifications, training programs, campaigns. Everything I need to finally live my dream of being a digital woman. Also collect old computer equipment to train young girls who do not have the financial means to train.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After having participated in the TechWomen program, I directly put into practice informed solutions in the management of toxic and household waste. With my community, we are going to undertake an awareness campaign in homes in this direction. And then start the project to launch the platform which will be managed by the young girls and which will help the populations in the maintenance of their environment for better health.
