What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The TechWomen program will help me to continue developing the insight, skills and capabilities consistent with scaling a high-impact business across Africa. I believe the mentors and organizations I will be exposed to will help me gain a more global outlook into my leadership skills, which is what I am missing currently. Through what I will learn from TechWomen, I hope to strike a great balance of leading with competence, confidence and empathy.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After I return home from TechWomen, I will continue running my business FarmDrive and using that opportunity to create a clear pipeline of growth for my team members into leadership roles within and outside the organization. I will actively contribute to the Women in Tech Community in Kenya by organizing more meetups and creating a network of resources from which everyone can benefit. I recently started running a community development project, which provides after school programs and upskilling for young women in my rural village. I hope to use my networks and experiences through TechWomen to expand this initiative.
