What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

As an aspiring public health manager, exploring digital technology for health service delivery will give me an upper hand in ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and equity. Cameroon has a high incidence of maternal mortality and non-communicable diseases, which are wholly preventable if we take full advantage of digital technology. Hence, going through the TechWomen program will provide me the skills I need to attain my objective of prioritizing preventive, community and patient-centered as a policymaker. Additionally, learning IT tools in community project management will strengthen my skills in grassroots mobilization and community involvement, which is needed as a health manager and policymaker.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

My long-term goals post-TechWomen are to improve the preventive, community, and patient-centered arm of healthcare in order to develop human capital for economic growth. I intend to use the MedMeetsTech project and engage more medical professionals in digital innovation activities such that they can exploit technology to better healthcare delivery. Furthermore, I hope to help train other health and wellness businesses to leverage content marketing strategies I will have learned from TechWomen to improve visibility, distribution, and sales while helping people consume healthier products.
