The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Improve my skills in Flutter
  2. Gain entrepreneurial experience
  3. UI/UX

Ideal Company Type

My ideal company would be a place where I can find diversity, for I love to be exposed to different cultures. In addition, I have never worked in a company of really big size because there are not many of that kind of company in Lebanon, so I think it would be a new experience to learn from. I would think a company that focuses on development (Android/Flutter) would be amazing.

Additional Technical Skills

Kotlin - I have previously used Arduino to develop my drone. I used the Arduino Leonardo to give commands to the flight controller (roll, pitch, yaw, throttle). I also used it to get information from the sensors about the direction, altitude and GPS.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Passionate
  2. Responsible
  3. Serious

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Not only will the mentorship help me on a technical level, but I am sure it is going to develop parts of my character. We are eventually the outcome of the experiences we go through. Therefore, I believe it would be a major push as I would learn new perspectives technically, and I am sure to get feedback on the personal application I am working hard on.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

While I am writing this, I have exactly four young ladies who are at the start of their career who I'm mentoring, so of course I'm going to show them everything I learnt. Furthermore, at ArabWIC, we always hold workshops and seminars for information exchange; the TechWomen program will show women that there is guidance if you seek it. Also, I'm sure the program will change the way I do or think about certain things; it might be the way we tackle tasks or even a business perspective. I will most certainly relay all of that back home.
