What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

My mentorship will offer me a customized learning experience in my chosen career path. This mentorship will help me gain deeper practical knowledge and professional experiences in data science, data analysis and data management. It will help me build relationships to learn from others who are part of the program and create lifelong lessons. It will increase my capability to impact other women and girls in STEM.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I want to use my experience with the TechWomen program to build on the leverage established by tech fellows in my country, specifically through expanding participation of more women in data science using this existing platform. I want to conduct workshops, seminars and campaigns that will increase women awareness and participation in data science and STEM in general. Another goal of mine is to develop a campaign that encourages government ministries, department and agencies (MDAs) to use their own data to improve their business and produce new offerings to improve government service delivery, while also encouraging women to be involved.
