The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn how to use new technologies in the processing of satellite images (Google Earth Engine) and in geovisualization (Web Mapping)
  2. Learn how to value and sell research results in order to transform them into business opportunities and apply for funding
  3. To acquire techniques and skills to lead and coordinate activities for girls and children, especially in rural areas

Ideal Company Type

If I had to describe an ideal company for my mentorship, I would like to have a company oriented towards geospatial technologies that does remote sensing, GIS and mapping. A company that uses new technologies such as the internet of things, geoartificial-intelligence, location-based technology would be ideal. I would be interested in a company that builds customized tools to visualize environmental risks, to monitor projects in real time, to interpret satellite images.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Curious
  2. Ambitious
  3. Passionate

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

My participation on a professional level will allow me to expand my professional network and improve my self-confidence and my ability to be a good leader. Also, it will strengthen the confidence of my supervisors on the role of women in the company.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I plan to donate my skills and services in organizing workshops and training. I will better organize the activities of my association (Kids and Girls in Geospatial), while focusing on the issue of female leadership.
