What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The TechWomen fellowship will help orient me on how to assess the best opportunities in the field of sustainable housing, smart cities, and circular economy solutions. Meeting other 107 like-minded women, learning from their professional experience, and how they overcome their daily challenges and the best practice they use to achieve their goals with minimum resources will build my efficiency. I hope to learn more about smart and clean technologies that can be used in Africa to reduce the decent housing gap, mitigate hazards, combat climate change, and build more sustainable cities.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

The TechWomen experience will build my capacities in the area of leadership and science. This knowledge will help me to make the “the city watch platform” a reliable resource for sustainable urban planning in Cameroon and Central Africa. I hope to train more girls and women in circular economy solutions, urban agriculture, and energy efficiency. The more I learn smarter technologies for eco-friendly affordable housing, the more our company D&D Smart Construction is equipped to bridge the housing gap and allow women with low and middle income to own a decent house.
