What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Participation in the TechWomen program will polish my professional skills. Through the extensive support system that TechWomen provides for us, I will gain in-depth knowledge in the field of telecommunication engineering and learn skills in innovation, science, and technology. I think TechWomen will give help us to be more inspired to enhance women's role in shaping the future in various fields. I'm excited about this opportunity because I think it will create a massive network with 108 powerful women, which will serve as a bridge between our countries and cultures and facilitate collaboration with other societies.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I can organize workshops to teach Libyan women what I learned in TechWomen 2020 and encourage them to apply for TechWomen 2021. I can also contact the TechWomen network to encourage women to work in the engineering and scientific fields in a country like Libya. I will work hard to empowering women in the scientific community. Also, as a director of the International Cooperation Office at the College of Electrical and Electronics Technology-Benghazi (CEET), I will create channels of communication and partnership between TechWomen and researchers in Libyan universities and research centers.
