What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?

My presence will contribute a diversity of thoughts and ideas to the host company; I will bring along a problem-solving mindset and a balanced perspective. My present research and business interests in cassava innovation are novel in Africa with a good understanding of the African market which can be a pipeline for future collaborations for the company. I will be valuable in helping the company expand its reach. My desire is also to build a global company that uses high-level technologies. That can be an opening for partnership or investment opportunities. I am productive, innovative, strategic, and resourceful.

Ideal Company Type

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Within the next 3- 5 years, I want to be recognized as an authority in the area of Food Security Innovation. I will appreciate it if the TechWomen mentorship can direct me toward that goal. I want my food solutions to have high-tech intervention and I envisage that a TechWomen mentorship will influence me to make better choices that can help my innovation thrive; giving me exposure and a platform to learn from different angles. I believe the mentorship will also give me insights into growing my food company globally and fulfill my vision of promoting food security in Africa.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I would love to pay my Techwomen experience forward in so many ways. First, in my research, through which I believe will make significant contributions to the Food Security innovation in Nigeria. Also a build-up on the Green Hub that I created as one of the "Her Future" initiatives under Mademoiselle Foundation, I am optimistic that my experience will enable me to expand that initiative and equip it with world-class technologies to contribute to agriculture in Nigeria. I envisage nothing less than 500 girls and women benefitting from this initiative yearly.
