What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
I look forward to working in an innovative environment to help me organize my ideas and my experience to transfer it from lab to field. I'd like to be exposed to the host company facilities and participate in projects which are making a significant step towards discovering innovative therapeutics using nano/biotechnology and microscopy. I'd love to participate in research about photo-dynamic and photo-thermal cancer therapy.
What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?
I have significant experience in nanotechnology, biotechnology, and microscopy when gives me an advantage in a multidisciplinary environment. I'm able to make innovative solutions using my knowledge of these three fields of science. I'll devote long hours and effort into this experience to develop the companies products or assist in solving a problem they have identified, using my multidisciplinary approach.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
I'll return home a participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars to give presentations on developing the scientific careers for women andtransferring lab science to the field. I'll share ideas on how to solve today's problems by science and contact home companies to support research to develop important innovative products.
