The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn how to manage new product development cycle and innovation process effectively, benefit from Silicon Valley companies' best practices and tactics.
  2. Get a better understanding of future and emerging technologies in the fields of agricultural technologies, sustainable cities, and sustainability practices.
  3. Learn about successful team leadership tactics, project management strategies, and mentoring techniques used in big businesses with huge teams.

Ideal Company Type

The ideal host company for me would be one working in the development sector or service providing on projects related to Agriculture, Climate action, or any Environment related topics. I would like to work with teams in the areas related to developing new products or services in the mentioned areas. I'm also interested in working in multi-stakeholder projects where I can expand my knowledge about conveying inputs and outputs among different beneficiaries.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

When it comes to learning from big companies and high-profile mentors, I feel that the TechWomen program will provide a new perspective and point of view. These new experiences will complement my practical and academic knowledge, allowing me to complete the circle of learning. I believe that this program will be one of the life-changing experiences and will change the next course of my career path.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Egypt's economy has been among the fastest-growing in recent years, necessitating an increase in the demand for experts in a variety of fields. One of the main drivers of a country's economic growth is the private sector. Here's when having a high level of experienced and skilled professionals and organization becomes crucial. During the TechWomen program, this type of knowledge and experience will be enhanced and improved. On a different level, I serve as a mentor in a variety of incubator and accelerator programs, where this knowledge and experience will be shared with a larger number of companies and startups.
