What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen host company?

My dedication, focus, and commitment would be my three pillars while in contact with the host company. I will put all my energy, motivation, and creativity to finish assigned tasks or projects. I will share my knowledge and ideas with the mentor and host company so we can get the best out of each other.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Improve my technical skills
  2. Get involved with partner company on a project
  3. learn about new tools and platforms

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Focus on technical skills building
  • Identify a short-term project I can work on at the partnering company
  • Exposes me to new tools and platforms
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

The ideal company for my mentorship placement would be a public and technology company. Primarily, my preference would be a large corporation that focuses on artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and e-commerce. Also, I prefer the company to be an influential one in the high-tech marketplace. I would be interested to know how they plan, execute, and maintain. Besides, I prefer to work in a motivating, flexible, and competitive culture. I would prefer to have colleagues that are collaborative, curious, and goal-oriented where we can share our ideas, knowledge, and visions.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Dedicated
  2. Responsible
  3. Innovative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

The mentorship program will help me enhance my technical skills as I will be exposed to new tools, platforms, and on hands projects/tasks. The program will boost my knowledge in several areas such as tech, entrepreneurship, leadership, and creativity. Also, it will help me excel in my current job as an IT specialist, and it will be my start point to launch my own business.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participating in the TechWomen program, I want to take advantage of the acquired skills to motivate more girls to get into STEM jobs. I want to support girls to start their own businesses and never limit themselves to a job, an idea, or one action plan. I want to teach them how to be curious and innovative, and how to search and grasp opportunities in the tech field.
