What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?
I believe my professional TechWomen mentorship will help me realize my full potential and expand my knowledge of different learning strategies, which I can use for establishing the first educational application to teach English to students in Libya. Additionally, it will guide me through figuring out what steps I can take to effectively manage an organization dedicated to promoting STEM education through the use of coding. Lastly, I will have a network of support to keep me inspired to achieve all of my goals.
After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?
I believe that education is the most powerful tool for sustainable development. Therefore, I would love to share my experience, knowledge and network from the TechWomen program to improve the quality of education in Libya by creating educational applications. Additionally, the network I will gain during my mentorship will be a great way to share experiences and challenges, and to come up with innovative ideas to implement in creating my STEM organization. Finally, I would like to pay my experience forward and start mentoring girls and encourage them to pursuing STEM as a major and a career.
