What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

My contribution to my TechWomen mentorship lies in my practical experiences as a non-technical founder of a tech startup. I can offer insights into scaling a company organically and navigating the growth challenges, as well as crafting a strong brand identity from scratch using creative strategies. Additionally, I aim to foster open communication and mutual learning, leveraging my vision and passion to ignite fresh ideas and drive positive change within the startup ecosystem.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Enhance leadership skills, including public speaking and team management.
  2. Gain insights into leveraging emerging technologies, particularly as a non-technical leader, to drive business growth.
  3. Learn effective strategies and techniques for raising and securing funding for ventures.

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Attend company meetings
  • Attend company-wide meetings and/or team meetings
  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Gets me involved in day-to-day activities of the mentor and partnering company.

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor would come from an innovative technology company within, specializing in digital transformation, construction tech, or AR/VR solutions. The company should be a startup or a medium to large in size, with a focus on fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, inclusivity and continuous learning. I would appreciate a mentor from an organization that emphasizes sustainability and social impact, as well as encourages entrepreneurial thinking and leadership development. This environment would provide the perfect backdrop for gaining valuable insights and enhancing my skills in leveraging emerging technologies and securing funding for my ventures.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Driven
  2. Adaptable
  3. Innovative

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

Collaborating with a U.S.-based mentor presents a unique opportunity to gain insights and perspectives from a global leader in technology and entrepreneurship. By leveraging their expertise and guidance, I aim to enhance my skills, expand my network, and gain valuable knowledge that will advance my career forward. This experience will not only contribute to the success of my current ventures but also prepare me to lead larger national initiatives in the future, ultimately positioning me as a key player in driving innovation and growth within the industry in my country and beyond.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Upon completing the TechWomen program, I will leverage my knowledge and network to launch new initiatives empowering women in digital construction and technology in Tunisia. One of my primary goals is to establish a mentorship program that provides guidance and support to aspiring female entrepreneurs and professionals, helping them navigate the challenges of the digital construction and tech industry and achieve their full potential. Also, I plan to collaborate with local organizations to organize workshops aimed at enhancing digital literacy and skills development among women & girls, paving the way for greater gender equality and socioeconomic advancement in my community.
