The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Sharpen my skills in front end development to enable me to be a professional front end developer and to build a career out of it.
  2. I want to learn how digital courses are prepared, how curriculums are put together, and the best practices to prepare digital lectures, how to engage students in online courses.
  3. To experience how big companies analyze and interpolate social media fields and insights to fine tune their social existence and maximize the success of their social media goals.

Ideal Company Type

The most appropriate place for my mentorship is an institution that works in both web programming and technical education. So, it should be an institution with a focus on online learning with a culture of "learning and education is for everyone no matter how remote they are'', a place with a simple atmosphere, and a high tolerance for my questions regarding mentorship and my culture in general, and with an un-orthodox work culture.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  2. Reliable
  3. Flexible

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

What I am hoping to gain through participating in TechWomen is a set of skills and expertise that will help me to pursue my project of creating professional training camps outside the capital city to be more accessible and affordable for women to help them to have a STEM career. And I am hoping to learn how to be a mentor myself which will help in improving my professional path.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

I believe the experience I will gain from working at one of the big players of Silicon Valley is something I can never get anywhere else. This will give me the ability to move this knowledge to my country in terms of working methodologies, approaches, and business development, supporting and encouraging innovative ideas, and activating the professional network I am hoping to be a part of, in leveraging and promoting STEM careers for women; which is important for a country of low resources and where technology promises a bright future.
