The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn new methodologies used in effective management of technical employees, to acquire deeper knowledge on how Project Management is organised in IT companies, and what kind of technical tools are used there.
  2. Build a professional network among great women in STEM all over the world, learn new cultures and support this friendship network for life.
  3. Develop growth mindset, gain more interesting techniques of reaching the goals from experienced mentors.

Ideal Company Type

I would love to be placed in a mentorship company with a friendly culture and which is focused on a result. I work in an IT company of approximately 20 people, so I would like to try working/going through mentorship in a bigger company with focus on people as a main asset in business. As I am new in the Project Management team, I would love to gain more experience in this area and to become an expert in this profession.

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I am in the process of acquiring new experience in the Project Management field. So, this mentorship will empower me to learn new approaches to managing projects in IT and allow me to receive a clear vision of my further professional progress. Learning new technologies and methods will also help me think critically, act more confidently and be open to challenges with no fear. I believe that the TechWomen mentorship will extremely help me in becoming better in my new field because I will receive international experience, which can be an impulse to new achievements in my career.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

Upon participation in the TechWomen program I plan to create more possibilities for women in Kyrgyzstan to learn about IT sphere via spreading it in various ways. 1) I will find several colleges in my country, including ones in rural areas and set up a series of meetings with students. 2) I will create a podcast in Kyrgyz language specifically for girls in order to share all the important and useful information on technology. 3) I would use the TechWomen program network to increase the interest in STEM among girls by setting up online workshops on different useful topics.
