What will be your most valuable contribution to your TechWomen mentorship?

As a mentee, my most valuable contribution to the TechWomen mentorship would be my commitment to giving back, my willingness to engage and my confidence and maturity. I am dedicated to returning to my home country to share the knowledge and skills I've gained, particularly by mentoring women and girls to empower and advance them in their communities. I exhibit a strong willingness to participate in exchange programs, seize opportunities for mentoring and develop new partnerships, contributing to the organization's growth and expansion efforts.

The Top Three Things I Would Like to Learn or Experience During my Mentorship

  1. Learn about organic fertilizer, sustainable modern agriculture and/or how organic waste can be converted to a renewable energy source
  2. Learn about smart grid design and interconnected resilient power systems for rural communities
  3. Develop skills in public speaking and a growth mindset

Mentorship Characteristic

  • Visit an office or attend a site-visit
  • Identify workshops or certificate programs to further my learning after the program has ended
  • Focus on leadership skills building
  • Present my current work to professionals in my industry
  • Have exposure to specialized industry techniques

Ideal Company Type

My ideal mentor would be a seasoned professional at the intersection of agriculture, renewable energy and ecology, working in a medium-sized organization dedicated to sustainable practices. The company's focus would be on innovative solutions for integrating renewable energy into agriculture, promoting soil and water health, and fostering resilient rural communities. The culture would prioritize collaboration, diversity and a growth mindset with a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and social responsibility. The mentor would have extensive experience in these fields and a passion for mentoring others to drive positive change in both industry and society.

What are three adjectives that best describe you in the work place?

  1. Serious
  2. Resilient
  3. Outgoing

What impact will your mentorship have on your career and professional path?

I hope that collaborating with a U.S.-based mentor will broaden my perspective, enhance my skills and expand my professional network. By leveraging their expertise and insights, I aim to accelerate my career growth, gain valuable knowledge and unlock new opportunities for advancement. This collaboration will not only enrich my professional path but also empower me to make a meaningful impact in my field, both locally and globally.

After participating in the TechWomen program, how will you leverage your mentorship experience to make an impact in your home country?

After participating in the TechWomen program, I intend to leverage my experience by empowering rural women and mentoring young women in my home country, sharing the knowledge and skills I've gained to foster their growth and advancement in tech and entrepreneurship. I am committed to returning home to share these insights and actively mentor women and girls, while also demonstrating a strong willingness to engage in exchange programs, welcome opportunities for mentoring and partnership development, and exhibit confidence and maturity in all endeavors. I aim to collaborate with local organizations and government entities to implement sustainable initiatives.
